We believe that communities are made great by those who give back. We are thankful for the many volunteers and supporters who come together to make a difference. YOU make a difference in the lives of thousands of women and children.
WIN House has been fortunate to receive wonderful support from the community. We appreciate the outstanding commitment of Edmontonians to make sure that women and children seeking refuge from abuse have a place to go. We have many groups and individuals that continually support us and give their time and resources to ensure we can continue doing the good work we do. Among these are the Edmonton Korean Women’s Association, Edmonton Eskimos, Soup Sisters, Alberta Blue Cross Hearts of Blue, our Win FORE WIN Committee and Bell Media Edmonton.
Rohit’s Basket of Hope
Thank you! On November 7, 2016 the 7th annual Baskets of Hope in support of WIN House took place at Rohit Group of Companies office. The tradition first started in 2010 by Dianne Young as a small gathering of 12 friends as an opportunity to give back to the community, specifically for women facing adversity. This event quickly grew with the partnership of Krishna Gupta, VP of Rohit Group of Companies. It has since bloomed into a beautiful tradition that joins together business leaders, community members, friends and family. Guests generously donate time and treasures to provide comfort and hope for women who have made an incredible sacrifice to protect themselves and their children. Thank you to Dianne and Krishna for continuing this tradition. Thank you to all the woman who took part and to the entire team at Rohit for your support.
