Online donations are processed through CanadaHelps, a Canadian charity set up in conjunction with the financial community to facilitate charitable giving in Canada. All transactions are secure and confidential. See www.CanadaHelps.org for more information .

A receipt for Income Tax purposes is issued to you directly from CanadaHelps immediately upon completion of the transaction, via e-mail.

Please note that CanadaHelps charges a 3% transaction fee, which is deducted from your donation before the funds are transferred to Edmonton Women's Shelter Ltd.

 
 



Volunteering with WIN House
Edmonton Women’s Shelter recruits Volunteers on an on-going basis for Special Events and Donations Aid positions.
Special Events
Assists with Fundraising Events such as our annual golf tournament and Empty Bowls, an annual luncheon and silent auction. Also helping out with 3rd party fundraising events.
Donation Aid
Assisting with sorting and organizing incoming donations during our Business Office Hours.
How do I become a volunteer?
Either by contacting our Coordinator of Volunteers at 471-6709 ext 225, or by filling out our online application form.
All volunteers will require an interview. References are required as are a clear Child Welfare Record Check and Police Security Clearance.
