Here at WIN House,

we are thankful for the many volunteers and supporters who organize community events on our behalf.

You make a difference in the lives of thousands of women and children. No matter if your idea is for a large fundraiser or a smaller one, every dollar counts and the more awareness of gender-based violence we can raise, the better.

To start, we ask that you fill out the application form for your community event. Please fill in as much information as you are able to at this time.  Please allow us a maximum of 2 weeks from the time it is sent to look it over and get back to you.

Will There be a Raffle?

Please read the following and indicate that you have read, understood and agree to these terms and conditions:
  • By publicly naming WIN House as the beneficiary of my event, I agree to remit the full amount of net proceeds from this event to WIN House within 30 days of this event.
  • I understand that tax receipts will be issued according to Canada Revenue Agency guidelines and that I must discuss tax receipting details with WIN House prior to the event or tax receipts will not be issued.
  • I understand that I may not contract this event out to another 3rd Party fundraiser.
  • I agree that the WIN House name and logo are important symbols which should not be misrepresented. Prior to publicizing or holding the event, WIN House must approve this proposal.
  • I understand that all materials with the WIN House name on it must be pre-approved by WIN House.
  • WIN House assumes no legal or financial liability associated with this event.
  • WIN House is not responsible for any accidents or damage to persons or property that may occur during the course of this event and I will arrange that suitable insurance is in place prior to staging this event.
  • WIN House reserves the right to cancel this agreement at any given time should the event undermine WIN House’s mission, vision, values, established policies, or threaten its work and reputation within the community. WIN House is not responsible for financial or other damages that may result from such cancellation.
